When your heart yearns for someone, it's like it's singing a song, hoping the other person will eventually hear it.

We wonder if they are thinking of us. We wonder if they will forget us or if we ever even mattered to them.

This struggle is a profound reality that those that love with their whole heart have both the questions and the answers in the sad song generating from their heart.

I say it when I see you, in my head.

I say it when I see you, in the flesh.

I say it when I lie awake, in my bed.

I say it to remind, reflect; refresh.

What must he say? I hear you wondering.

What is it he says? I hear your thoughts now.

Only what matters; continue pond'ring.

But you already know the truth anyhow.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I confess; you run; purgatory is home.

The more I learn, I realize I'm no good,

For you, for anyone; my heart is a tomb.

What is it I say, that says all these things?

I love you my dear; for you my heart sings.
