As the inevitable continuance of time progresses forward my sanity grows weary. With every passing second of time we are collectively closer to our impending demise. Death. We associate the word into our everyday lives to show fortitude against the intangible, yet highly palpable thing that is death. When in fact we are scared, so scared that we will discuss the word death so often, in hope to impair the true meaning of what it is in our minds. Our human nature is to devalue all things that we can not understand, that being said we create the illusion that death isn’t something that shouldn’t plague us. Unfortunately, I’m the variant. My mind will not allow me to degrade the wholeness of death. I ponder the deeper meaning of life and death every waking day, and every waking day I can feel the corruption worsening. If only I could be ignorant and daft, like all of my peers. That would ultimately be true bliss. My mind yields the most unfavorable clairvoyance imaginable, ceaseless thought. I implore a higher power to save me from my own self immolation, to justify death being meaningful rather then just being a senseless epilogue. Deus autem miserere animae meae.
