There comes a time when the broken hearted will be ready to move on. When reality sets in and they realize they can find something better, the truth of the matter is, we know it's not till we move on do the transgressors come back.

I long for things that no longer exist.
Memories past squeeze my heart; stealing breath.
I have to relinquish; I must resist.
I must let go, because you'll be my death.
I'm better than this, so worthy of more.
You'll reap what you sow. I truly believe.
Always wanting more, your unfeeling core,
Will leave you regretful. Your fate; to b'reave.
It pains me to spite, to hold such disdain.
I'm truly not hateful. I need relief.
It's hard to relinquish hurt and not blame,
but I'm the best you ever had; believe.
Stole a piece of me; I'm taking it back.
A Better love deserves a'heart without lack.
