The light was playing through the window

She smiled at the sun

A pain crept through her head

She dismissed it, she was having fun

Without warning, the screams broke through

Her tiny body changed its shape

We tried to calm what we thought was panic

By the time we realised, it was too late

That was the beginning

We hear there will be no end

My smallest angel won't get better

The torture will remain instead

Today they said it was worse

Her little mind is being erased

She no longer controls her actions

It's even affecting her taste

There might be hope, we're told

If we could only bring them to an end

These tremors that plague her, day and night

Would stop hurting her tiny head

Grasping On to this

We now race time and fate

To stop this blackened monster and save her mind before it's too late.
