Trophies are rewards for our performance, they're not gifts. When your conceptualisation of the word "trophy" goes beyond mere medals, precious but corruptible stones & metals, when it include life's strata, places & conditions, what trophy would you consciously live daily to get & to keep, the back side of life? Progress is such a tussle when you can't make a clear distinction between what you want in life & what you don't want. My kingship ain't a confered status, it's a reward, a trophy I consciously live to get & to keep.

THE TROPHY

I kill my game, dead animals are not on my menu, I'm not just royal, I'm king. I gladly starve when my meal is not available, I don't eat just anything, I'm not just royal, I'm king. I call my shot, I decide what stays on my table, I'm not just royal, I'm king. The struggle many times is never in figuring out the how of getting to our destination, the struggle is in truly deciding what that destination should be.

A sleep walker finally wakes up somewhere; the place & conditions in which he wakes up however depends on whoever or whatever finds & own him on the walk. In life, there exist a number of places & conditions you're likely to find yourself over time if you let life do the leading, but there're only a few of these places you'd truly be proud to be; so, what happens if you find yourself in the rest of these places? A sleep walker can wake up anywhere, if you don't find the way around your feet, you can find yourself anywhere.

When you see me getting up early in the morning, when you see me discipline my appetite or insist on a particular quality of life, when you see me being careful with my choices, do understand that I do it for a purpose, the prize is deserving of the price. Your trophy in life commensurates with the quality of your person, the values you've built on the inside of you; that's why my kingship will never be open to public contest. I don't sleep walk, I build & own my domain, I deserve my trophies, I'm an uncontested champion.

DO YOU HAVE A LEGACY TO BEQUEATH? THAT'S YOUR INCORRUPTIBLE MEDAL.
