Thank you for tomorrow
Whatever you think that will be
I know you think you are the monster of sorrow
But you'll never be that to me

For your eyes are that of an angel
A survivors voice of divine light
I know I make you disdainful
But I'd love to hold you all night

It's not you that's hard as stones
It's not to hard to behold
You think it's in your bones
No the part of you that's hard is your heart of gold

Thank you for tomorrow
Even though you cant see
None of you would be hollow
If it were up to me

The burdens I'd lift
would stifle any man
I'd replace them with gifts
Just because I can

You said you swallowed me
Just so you could go on through
I was never holding you back you see
But I guess I'm happy inside of you.
