Five hundred and four years into the rule of the Preminan dynasty warfare has broken out across the nation of Haratak. Chaos and bloodshed are widespread as lords fight lords, families attempt to rise above the warfare, and cunning officials and brave men and women look to distinguish themselves in a land of confusion and anarchy. Only the strongest can survive; emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Those that refuse to move are engulfed in the flames of war that desecrate the nation. Those that move forward forge the path to the future with quill and ink or steel and blood.

The Right to Rule

This is much bigger than my previous works and will include a lot more characters, places, and events. If people feel it necessary, I'll upload a character list (according to their associated
clan), as well as a map to help people keep track of events. This stuff will go up eventually anyway, but if it is needed sooner rather than later then I can definitely prioritize that. I also plan
to include a timeline of events at some point.

Note: This will only pertain to events prior, and up to, the beginning of the story.
