Today I found a kitten
Its lost and alone
I desire to take it
And make it my own

Who did you want to be little kitten
Can you remember that far back
I don't see where it is written
Where all of your memories haunt you
Before they fade to black

There is a chair before me and I can see you sitting there.
You can play and adore me or just groom your shiny hair.
In that chair you sit perched laughter from your jaw.
Sometime that night you search me with your paw.
Disappointed that I back away and stare
You're no longer a kitten at all
