I can't make sense of it. I'm still in disbelief. My faith, my hope crushed. Dreams swept away by a thief.

I knew what the dr. said. Yet refused to believe it true. Test were ran to check it out. Everything fine I just knew.

This could not be how it ends. The words we heard today. Echo through my head. Taking our breath far away.

Reaffirming what he previously said. This is not good, I seen it in his eyes. My wife by my side as he spoke. Taking in his advice.

Not much time I have left. Chronic illness, they say no cure. This thing they say I have ALS. This storm we are about to endure.
