I'm not one to speak my mind easily, but I feel that this has to be done.

I know that I am not the only one suffering out there.

I want to shed light on what wants to be in the dark.

They act normal.

But they’re hurting so deeply on the inside.

It’s those who wear the masks.

Chapter 1: Help

They want help, they need help, but they refuse to ask of it.

I’ve always wondered, ‘Why? Why don’t you ask and be done with it?’. And now I have my answer, it’s those they try to ask from. The pity they give once you say it, and pity is the last thing that they need.

What could they possibly say that gets them that much pity? ‘I have depression.’, is one, ‘I cut myself.’, is another. Or how about, ‘I don’t want to live anymore.’? So much pity is thrust upon them, it doesn't help, it worsens it in fact. The sad mood hangs on them, so thick, and oh so heavily, they can’t seem to shrug it off.

It makes killing themselves all the easier though.

How could I possibly know all of this, without giving pity to them myself?

It’s simple.

I’m one of those suicidal people.
