Victorious people, the meaning of my birth name,
Vox Populi, I’m nothing more than a public servant.
Not involuntary service, this is of my own free will,
I keep calm and carry on, even if I’m hurting.
Gravitational pull, akin to the king of the Solar System,
Many moons in my orbit, my all seeing eye observant.
Any signs of discord, I treat the matter like it’s urgent
No matter what, even if it’s small like an amoeba.
At the dinner table, I make sure I’m the last to eat,
Cause worst come to worst, I’ve got my loved ones back.
Their problems instantly become my problems, I attack
With extreme prejudice, until rigor mortis kicks in.
It’s checkmate, I’m backed into a corner, once again,
Extreme pressure on me, I evolved into the Titan Atlas.
Dire situation, but there’s beauty inside of this madness,
Just for a brief moment in time, I become the apex predator.
Crossing every line, morally and ethically flexible,
Quietly analyzing the situation, strike with surgical precision.
Though if the situation calls of it, I’ll make a split second decision,
As long as my people are cared for, then I’ve done my job correctly.
Nietzsche was right in his nihilist view, this life is meaningless,
However, the human mind can find meaning inside emptiness.
I dream of becoming The Giver, shouldering all negative emotions,
Living life with thumbs pointed down, to make everyone happier.

The pressure can be too much to bear at times, but I always make sure that my friends know that I'm available to them at all times if they need me, that's just how I am. Thank you for reading!

I always do everything that I can for my friends and my family, even if it means I may have to put my own feelings and business aside, my ultimate goal is to improve the lives of all of the people that I encounter, even if it just slightly.
