Glass shatters in the distance.

Blood red shards pierce your throat.

Red rivers run down your protective hands.

Your fingers grip around my jaw.

Crystal blue eyes reflecting back into dead ones.

Your lips move but make no sound.

I grasp a deep breath up from my rib cage.

Pounding sounds mimicking blood flow from my brain to my heart.

The heart you just broke in your beautiful hands.

Pounding sounds beating in my ears.

In through the veins and out through my mouth.

My glass dug into your palms so deep aortas screamed.

My everything was breaking but my heart still found a way to beat.

By taking in through your veins and breaking you too.
