She had only moved in with me that first day, and already we were at each other's throat. This was crazy, it should not have turned out that way. I had to stand and watch as she packed her case, went out the front door, and down the path. Some women, I learned, are really stubborn. They are full of love, and yet, they'll walk out on you. I just couldn't let this happen. Moving to the front door, I looked to my left, down the path where she was heading. The case dangling heavily in her right hand.
Strolling quickly behind her, I shouted, ''Wait! Come back! This is not the right way. Let's talk it out.''
She stopped, put the case on the ground beside her, turned around, and said, ''Do you really love me?''
''Of course, I love you. You know that yourself. Why are you running away?''
''I'm wondering if it can work out. I've see relationships like this just fade away.'' She said.
I got close to her. Took hold of the case, gave her a kiss, and walked her back to the house. Over a glass of wine, I said, ''I wonder how many years we're going to spend together from this day onwards?''
''Years?'' She asked. ''You'd be lucky if we make it a week.''
''I've got the feeling that things will go well. It's possible we might last quite long, wh knows. Tou love me, and I love you, that is a good start.''
''Shall we go make a baby?'' She said.
I said, ''No, Let's get married first, then the baby.''

The End.
