My emotions are like a garden, always growing.

However, instead of growing beautiful flowers

with sweet fragrances, I grow weeds. So I pull

out all the weeds, rake, plant new bulbs,

water and make sure they have sunlight and

start all over.

My garden starts blossoming but here we go

again... all weeds. I try to figure out why my

garden is like this, then I realize "oh yeah,

I'm not a gardener."

Unlike my defeaters attitude I actually give it

another try. I do the steps and wait anxiously.

The garden blossoms and once more I see

weeds.

But wait, in between the tall discolored weeds

is a small purple and yellow flower standing

strong against those bully weeds. I just stare

at the strength of this little flower. It won't let

those ugly weeds destroy it.

My emotions are like a sad brown and weedy

garden with a beautiful, hopeful, strong

colorful flower in the middle. This is what

those weedy emotions will feed off of. This

flower will be my hope.
