I wish my nonsense wasn't conscious

I wish I didn't know what I did to those

That I love and that I treasure

But that would mean giving up this pleasure

I wish my nonsense wasn't conscious

I wish people knew that my attempts were feeble

All I can love is what I hate

As my willpower slowly dissipates

I am stuck in a parody of prosperity

Constantly being worn down by life's ferocity

I love what I feel like I need

I never learn from the bad habits I feed

I covet to reach my summits

I am not a mess up, just a diamond in the rough

I love who I wish to be

A wish that can only be brought to reality by me

I wish my nonsense wasn’t conscious

It’s silly how hard it is to claim responsibility

I love finding ways out

It won’t be easy but steadily I will defeat my doubt
