Joe Thornton (above) scored his 400th career goal last night against the Nashville Predators
When his hockey career ends, fans are going to remember Joe Thornton for two things.
His beard and his ability to put the puck into the net.
Drafted first overall by the Boston Bruins in 1997, Thornton, (now a San Jose Shark), scored his 400th goal against the Nashville Predators last night.
It was also the winning goal in a 5-4 Shark's victory.
Born in London, Ontario, Canada, Thornton has played 22 seasons in the NHL.
Eight with the Bruins and 14 with the Sharks.
During his 22 seasons, Thornton has 1,032 assists and 1,432 points in 1,503 career games.
