I may only warm up this world a bit at a time, but one day I shall bring back the sun.

I can see my breath

Today

I suck in the air

This freezing cold, burning

Oxygen

And feel my meager breath

Try to warm up the world

When the sun goes away
We are scorched

By this burning cold

When we run in the dark

We are whipped by these

Currents

Maybe this is a good thing

Instead of letting the cold

Pass through us

We breathe it in and make it

Warm again

In the pit of this darkness

We are still lighting a candle

Don’t hide in the light, instead

Quench the darkness

So I will keep sucking in

This freezing cold air

Because I know one day

The sun will rise,

Even if I have to drag it into the sky
Myself
