Midnight Mist

What a time it is,

Straw gently falls into a wisp,

The sky is clear but the mist is thick

Birds rest in their nests, resting on a stick.

Humans lay to rest, in there homes of brick.

Midnight Mist

Untouched, Unharmed;

Slowly blows through the midnight farms.

Above the grass it drifts gently.

All lights are waiting off for miles,

Stars sit in twinkling piles.

Midnight Mist

Whispers in the wind.

The sun peaks from the mountain top and it's the end.

For today are hard at work.

At midnight the mist will lurk.
