A A A

From time unturned, into the world

Hath it burned;

So long ago, but ever near

Doth it linger, ever here;

Setting ablaze the binds

Of every mortals’ minds,

Like fire in a forest of pines.

Straight of the light,

Onward to the night,

Can I see this most gruesome sight.

Smoke I see, smoke bewildered

Of this forest ever withered.

Strait of sky, to the stars,

Set alight dry memoirs

Of a cry set behind bars.

Now in wake, of this awful day,

Fire doused, ashes lay

Upon the soil, upon the clay;

Arise the light, show the way

To a new dawn, for a new day.
