Rest, unto the fallows of the night,

Be thou still beneath the moon;

Lay, under the prance of the light,

Be thou calm in thy tomb;

Stay, unto the time thou shalt wake,

Be thou safe below the lake;

Sleep, in the solace of thy mind,

Be thou free from bind.

Find what hath sat in care,

Flowing through the frigid air,

Passing from a dying stare

Into a graceful pair

Of eyes so fair.

In a mist hung so dearly,

In the dark of a night so sincerely

Can the sky be seen so clearly

Through eyes so bleary.
