It looks like a right mess to me.

Are you in?

Are you out?

There’s a cloud

full of doubt.

There’s an offer,

there’s a deal,

but it’s still

so unreal.

Not in concrete,

nothing signed,

minds undecided

not resigned.

Things unstable,

stoking fear

while you keep

nothing clear.

People bored,

so confused,

will this deal

be refused.

Will you stay?

Will you go?

I don’t think

you do know.

Thanks, Sue. It would be hilarious if there was not so much at stake.

Yep, it's a coin toss as to which way it'll go, excellent, Hull!

Thanks, Mike. They all seem to be treating it as some great big game.

Good one, Hully. It sounds like the new NAFTA deal between the US, Mexico and Canada right now too. Countries need to start doing what's right for the people and the environment.

It seems like the role of governments has changed now so that they look after their own agendas, and could not care less about 'the people' or anything else that doesn't fit it.
Thanks for giving this a read, Jeff.

Having followed the Brexit thing from the other side of the ocean, and admittedly getting bored to death by it all, you definitely made some sense of it. Certainly better than the English. So now that Boris has his Brexit, will there be a sequel?

Oh, boy, they're already squabbling. Who knows where this will all end. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and to comment.
