Playing with fire, hope we don’t get burned,

Modern day Romeo and Juliet, our love forbidden.

Keep everything under the table, no one can know,

If they find out, I’ll hang in the capital of New Britain.

I don’t understand, why certain types of love are illegal,

All of this fuss, just because of a difference in melanin.

Classified information, unless you wanna love my skeleton,

It’s not fucking fair, that we can’t be public with our affection.

I know exactly what you see, when you fucking look at me,

Judging me without knowing my character or personality.

Mixing negro and blanco, to y’all, that’s as bad as beastiality,

Hands up, don’t shoot, I’m a human not fucking Harambe.

We’ll use the underground railroad, with the cover of nightfall,

Looking over my shoulder constantly, I’m scared of the ghosts.

Never feel safe with you in public, even at a masquerade ball,

I’m risking my life, but still want to seal this sinful love with a kiss.

Playing with fire, hope we don’t get burned,

Modern day Romeo and Juliet, our love forbidden.

Keep everything under the table, no one can know,

If they find out, I’ll hang in the capital of New Britain.
