The leaves on the tree have arrive

To reach levels that birds fly

The leaves on the tree spirits are high

With hopes and dreams that clashes with the sky

The leaves on the trees turn vividly red when shy

And other emotions of colors of various dyes

The leaves on the tree do the best when they try

And often supply the tree with a fresh sweet surprise

The leaves on the tree in the summer are hot and dry

To bake fresh potatoes into crispy fries

The leaves on the tree have moisture in their eyes

For it is the time of year when they meet their demise

The leaves on the tree are small but help the tree survive

Yet the tree cuts them off in the cold leaving them to die

The leaves on the tree wants to know why

Because the young fruitful leaves have to blossom and thrive

The leaves on the tree begin to cry

Before they fall as they say their last goodbye
