He's the one who haunts you in your dreams,
Behind the closet door with a knife.

Watch your back,

You'll never know,

He'll follow your track,

Through the deep, sinking snow.

He's the midnight noise inside your house,

The one behind you when looking at the mirror.

He's the blood on your clean, white blouse,

He's the gun but you're the trigger.

He's the one possessed by the devil,

Coming to knock at your door,

You will be the one to tremble,

As he knocks thrice, no more.

He goes away discreetly,

Leaving you on high alert.

No trace at all, left normal completely,

Quietly, you silently observe.

He's the one who haunts you in your dreams,

Behind the closet door with a knife.

Call the police by all means,

Too late, fear has taken your life.

Kossettes Reality

I feel as though this was written on a really dark night. Everyone knows exactly what fear feels like, truly it is something that is personified deeply in this poem. I feel as though the end is the narrater committing suicide out of fear of something. I have so many stories as to what it might be. I loved this poem. Keep up the good work.
