Memories. If they are that which composes our spirit-selves when they are held and kept, to then be met within the process of re-incarnation, could remembering what had occurred to us in a past life also bring about a willed forgetting? Would that forgetting be a part of a spirits ending caused by harm being done to someone during a previous lifetime? Could the harm that was done bring about a willful end to memory, creating a gap where a potential eternal self comes to a halt. By the same token, if memory of harmful action is kept and embraced within a spirits continuance, could anger or sadness then become a part of the spirit reborn? How would this person be as they develop more memories during a new lifetime; could a permanent state of unhappiness be ingrained in them from the beginning, leading to depression and other emotional states of distress? We can speculate, but the point of this article is to always strive as a person to act in harmlessness. It is in that action that the individual human spirit will become an active participant in the energy of creation, and in that unity we might actually obtain something of an eternal self in time.
