Why are you staring at me?

I’m hoping you spontaneously combust.

For what possible reason? Even if I do, you won’t be able to prove that you caused it. So you’ll have to use someone else as a guinea pig as well.

Eh, tragic accident, I guess. And?

Even if that does work, it might still just be a fluke.

I fail to see the problem.

Yes, that’s how it works. Multiple hypotheses, experiments, and conclusions. You’re actually pretty smart.
