Seungri and Minsoo continued down the sidewalk as the sun slowly melted into the autumn skyline.

“So about the reservation,” Minsoo started, “we’re sooo late,” he tilted his head towards the sky and put a hand on his face.

“Why is it such a big deal? After all, I’m always late,” Seungri laughed as she looked up at Minsoo.

“Well, it might have to do with most reservations in this restaurant are years in advance,” Minsoo looked back down at Seungri his gray eyes looking more stormy than normal. Seungri paused her walking pace.

“Then how in the actual fuck did you manage to get reservations a couple of minutes after I said the picnic was canceled,” Seungri questioned him without reply. She rolled her eyes as she realized, “You didn’t do what I think you did… did you?” Minsoo looked away.

“Sorry, I just thought you’d like to go. You always said the building was beautiful, so I just thought it would be okay if I just bent the rules a little bit,” Minsoo said grabbing her hand. Seungri tore her hand away.

“Listen, I appreciate the fact that you notice what I say, but it isn’t fair to everyone else,” Seungri was more annoyed than angry because she believed that she fixed Minsoo’s twisted morals from when she first met him.

“Listen. It’s not like I stole the entire places V.I.P. info, or took the rest of their backup finances, I didn’t even dig up dirt on the owner of the place,” Minsoo had gotten himself worked up. His honeyed voice had gone and been replaced with a tooth clenched anger that dripped from his mouth.

“Woah! Calm down there, I get it your obsessed with your information,” she walked closer to Minsoo, his fists clenched, “and let me guess, their security was an easy-breezy task to hack by your unequaled skill?” her tone was teasing now.

“..well..duh,” Minsoo said embarrassed as he shoved his hands into his hoodie pockets all anger diminishing in the presence of Seungri, “you actually suck, I hope you know that,” he finished as he continued to walk down the sidewalk.

They continued their long walk in the sunset of autumn. Continuing with smalltalk like how Seungri had been doing in college, and how Minsoo had been handling his new job.

“Yeah speaking of your newest job, you are always so vague when we talk about it,” Seungri started to think.

“Oh, that? Honestly, it’s nothing important. I just do stuff with my computer when people want me to,” Minsoo shrugged off.

“Come onnn. At least tell me something interesting,” Seungri tugged on Minsoo’s hoodie.

“Okay, but if I do you can’t tell anyone, promise?” Minsoo lead her on.

“Of c-course!” Seungri replied grinning widely.

“Well, imma try to explain this as well as I can. So basically, I work for the police to collect information, but only when they need something. If they don’t need anything I’m basically on….standby? Normally, I’m just used to find criminals and people who do bad things on unsecured networks,” he continued.

“So basically finding criminals who have erased themselves online?” Seungri asked.

“In essence yea, but I do cooler stuff too,” Minsoo pouted.

“Like what?” Seungri was skeptical. Minsoo muttered something under his breath, “What was that?” she asked him.

“It’s classified,” Minsoo said barely auditable. Seungri’s emerald eyes sparkled, “don’t get your hopes up, it’s nothing like those shows you watch,” he laughed as Seungri slumped over in defeat.

“If that's the case then I don’t c-,” Seungri got cut off by the yells of someone off in the distance, “what was that?”

“I don’t know, but we should leave,” Minsoo’s tone became worried, the moonlight not enough to completely illuminate his expression. Seungri looked up noticing that the only natural light now was provided by a sliver of diminishing moonlight. There was another loud cry in the distance, but closer this time.

“What if they’re in trouble? We need to help them!” Seungri started to walk past Minsoo who grabbed her wrist.

“What can you do to help them?!” his grip tightened, “We should just go to the nearest police station and tell them we heard a concerning noise,” Minsoo finished.

“A concerning noise?” Seungri started to yell at him, “do you even care about the well being of another person? How can you be so self-centered?” She was becoming upset.

“Self-centered? I’m being rational! If someone is screaming for help there is probably some kind of threat, and maybe just maybe we are underqualified to save someone's life!” Minsoo yelled right back at her, “What are you planning to do anyway? Attack and an armed man who is bigger and stronger than you?!” Minsoo planned on continuing his rage-induced rant but was once again interrupted.

“Minsoo,” Seungri’s spoke softly, “You’re hurting me,” Minsoo looked down to see how tightly he was holding Seungri’s wrist.

“I-I’m so sorry,” he said letting go, “I’d never mean to hurt you Seun,” his tone was pleading as Seungri made eye contact with him, “I-I just don’t want you to get hurt is all,” Seungri said nothing as she grabbed her own wrist and ran away toward the cries.
