A True Coward
The truth is painful, that I know,
But lies will never let you grow.
If you choose to die in deceit,
At least don't ever say that I treat
You with disrespect
Because I expect
You to be honest with me.
'Though you're not a soldier,
There's a battle you shoulder.
You've grown so frail,
Yet you're not older.
You've stayed in the dark,
Despite it gets colder.
Although you think
You can't see your pains,
And have blurred all things out,
It still remains.
You've kept me also in the dark,
So I cannot find you,
But you cannot hide the mark
Of your troubles right behind you.
Only ruin is build, and yet
You wonder why you fear and regret.
