Sometimes our world is a messy blur,

and we can't seem to focus on life,

Trying to master all the stresses of time,

while being shredded apart with a knife.

A knife that's invisible, and no one can see,

the danger that we're constantly in.

A total disaster, that fades in a moment,

as we travel this world of sin.

The sin in the world that's devoured us,

and taken away all that was good.

Forcing the people to strive for perfection,

So their morals are misunderstood.

Moral that boost us to reach for the sky,

Yet block away love's magic touch.

Soaring the clouds with a saftey rope,

attached to our waist as a crutch.

This crutch that supports a fragil heart,

With time being the only drug,

getting high on the medicine of memories,

Wrapped up in an evil hug.

Hugs tighter than the grip of death,

Spewing kisses soaked up with lies,

As we seek out redemption in hope,

Conquering faith by the look in our eyes.

The look in our eyes of this mess,

Life's focus no longer in view,

A blur thats became more foggy,

It's a haze surrounding what's true.

Truth loosing to sin's ugly knife,

Struggling the dangers we master,

Misunderstanding perfection,

Flying through our messy disaster.
