Hey. My name’s Jay. I’m not the most interesting person, but you’ll have to hear my point of view. You see, it all happened on this Saturday. *alarm goes off* KNOCK! “Ugh…I’ll be there in a sec. Hold on!” KNOCK! “Stop beating on the door!” KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! *sigh* So I went and answered the door to find my friend waiting outside. “Yo! Jay! Hurry up man. We’re about to play. Don’t be late this time.” Friend 1 left to the football field ahead of me. I decided to lie in bed a couple more minutes, hoping to fall back to sleep. “I don’t feel like going out. I’ll just-wait! I forgot to login to a mobile game.” *sigh* So I logged into the game. Strangely, I had dailies to finish, and I get upset when I don’t get my reward. I wasted around 30 minutes finishing up things before receiving a message from a friend. Friend 2 was asking me to join the public chat. “I don’t know. Maybe I shouldn’t. I have plans today.” I didn’t respond but joined the public chat. It seemed lively. Actually, it was too lively. “I’M LATE!” I saw the clock and rushed to get dressed. I glanced back at my phone every few seconds trying not to get lost. Sadly, I missed a few responses and had no clue how to continue the conversation. Chat was going pretty fast. “LURKER,” I read from many of the members in the chat. “I wasn’t lurking. I have things to do today.” I continued stating my case, but nobody seemed to believe me. “He’s going to lurk again.” I decided to just ignore and logoff without saying bye, but that’d be rude. I logged back in to say my peace but found a private message. “Hmm…I wonder what this is.” It was Friend 3. Friend 3 was a pretty cool person. I actually got along really well. The problem was that I was busy. “Eh…what’s the harm?” I continued trading messages, but lost track of time and missed breakfast. “This is a bad start to my day. BANG! My door was shaking. *sigh* Trying to end the conversation, I sent some pretty rude messages. I didn’t mind too much and remembered what I originally was supposed to be doing. “BYE,” I messaged in the chat. I then walked towards and opened the door. Once again, Friend 1 is there to nag me. We had our traded blows or verbal assaults before I finally gave in. I put on my shoes and headed out the door. Of course I had my key to lock it. I was prepared. Late I was, but prepared I definitely was sure of. In the middle of the way to the field, I checked my empty pockets. “Oh man. I need to go all the way back. My wallet-.” I ran away without finishing my train of thoughts. After arriving, I remembered I had a report due in a couple of hours. “I need to postpone the football game and email this report.” I sent a quick text to Friend 1 and turned on my laptop. Today was worsening. I had to reset my laptop multiple times before the screen allowed me to login without freezing. Then the internet was down for thirty minutes. I was wasting more time stressed than happy. Internet came back up and I sent the report. When I looked back at my phone, BZZZZZZ! There were multiple notifications. “Why is there so much to deal with?” I was sick of everything and went to sleep. I awakened and missed lunch and dinner. “Why!?” I saw texts from Friend 1 and notifications of messaged Friend 2 sent. Friend 3 seemed upset with me. I just decided to ignore it all for the remainder of the night I was living. RING! My sister called. “Hello?” We exchanged our hellos before trading information. I laughed at the humorous remarks made by her. “Finally! You’re the best thing to happen to me today.” “Awe. Thanks lil bro,” she responded with. My cheerfulness returned and I felt like I could finally face everything. I logged into the mobile game, but there seemed to be depression all over the forums and chat. I didn’t need to be there. “I guess I’ll have to settle for Xbox. Wait, I have messages from Friend 2 and 3.” I tried my best to reply to them both, but I seemed to say everything in a misleading way. “Are you ok?” is what I kept receiving. Irritated, I decided to just logoff after saying my goodbyes. I then turned on my television and lost all hope. “I’m too hungry to be happy, and I don’t have enough motivation to actually hold my Xbox controller.” I began watching reruns on the channel my television was already on. TSK! “I hate this show.” I continued watching until I fell asleep.

When I awakened the next morning, I remembered what Friend 3 said. Then I became upset. “Why would Friend 3 even be mad about my response?” I thought about the things Friend 3 had told me not to do when we first started talking. “Friend 3 is contradicting himself.” I thought. “Well I’ll give it time. I don’t feel like dealing with anymore problems.” I continued this Sunday by eating breakfast. Then I had another letter to send my teacher. I wanted no delays for the next Saturday, so I wrote the letter right after breakfast. HEH! “I am definitely getting an A with this.” KNOCK! “I became more upset than yesterday. I knew he would just keep knocking until I opened up. I decided to endure the knocks and play dead. Surely, he would leave and I could get on my mobile game. “It’s too much work pleasing everyone offline and online.” After he left, I started doing my dailies in the real world. “I didn’t have the chance to bathe yesterday,” I thought. I grabbed my necessities and hopped in the public shower. After washing off, I brushed my teeth and got dressed. “Time for some Korean Hunters.” I logged into my favorite mobile game, Korean Hunters, and checked the forums for it. I saw more arguing and depression. Annoyed, I posted a parody of the incident. I received some good feedback from it and believed I did a good deed. Then I began commenting “derp” all over the forum posts. That had great feedback as well. I finally did my dailies for Korean Hunters and hopped into the chat section. “Nobody’s here,” I thought. “Well, time to go.” I logged off and spent the rest of this day watching music videos and anime. No games were played.
