Critteria is indeed a rather strange planet, but if you think a city full of animals with over-the-top clothing is weird, you haven’t seen anything yet. Because far away from Talopolis lies a land with a more interesting society.

Twilive, or the Lands of the Twins, is a land thousands of miles away from Talopolis. It’s a land with a remarkable fact: the majority of the Critters there have a doppelgänger. But that’s just the beginning, for some reason, whenever two doppelgängers meet each other, the magical powers of Twilive forces them to merge, becoming one, but still two minds in one body, even though it seems like you’re looking at one person. While this is quiet frightening, the Critters there have learned to live with it when it happens. It isn’t that difficult for many of them. Most of the time, they find a new way to live that favors both doppelgängers, a way for both to fulfill their wishes.

It’s a different story, however, when three doppelgängers manage to merge with each other. It doesn’t happen often, since having 2 different doppelgängers besides oneself is quite rare, even for this strange land, but when it happens, it can have many consequences on those who possess the new body. 2 minds sharing one body is difficult, but still manageable within a short amount of time, but three minds overload the body and it would take much longer for whoever possesses it to recover. At the beginning, 2-minds may have slight difficulty in walking and stutter from time to time, but 3-minds almost can’t walk or move properly at all, and when they try to speak, only gibberish comes out. After a while, they can talk and move properly again, but their psyche is still full of chaos.

Such is the story of the entity that has chosen to call himself Stylor, a 3-mind dog of which one of his doppelgangers was the hero of Twilive. But now, overloaded by the presence of his two doppelgängers and overworked by the people who either requested help or even gave him demands, not respecting his condition, he simply couldn’t take the pressure anymore and decided to abandon his career. Without a hero, Twilive will fall into chaos if Stylor doesn’t decide to change, or better put, he can’t manage to fully unite his three doppelgängers.

But as the land slowly fell into anarchy, hope grows again in the form of a visitor, a bunny with a weird sword, who has lost himself in the Lands of the Twins. Yet, he doesn’t panic or fall into despair, even with the chaos around him. He moves forward, and while he may fall many times, he has the power to overcome these threats, such is his fate. This is no ordinary Critter, this was a hero on the rise, still young and slightly naive, but full of potential. It’s up to this visitor to find Stylor to help him, and fight off the incoming threats for as long as possible, until he manages to fully unite Stylor. And afterwards, many will know him as the second hero of the Lands of the Twins: Allegro Microbit…
