My youth, has persisted of nightmares and pain
Plagued by my inner demons
Tormented into accepting my own darkness, my shadow.
All of these thoughts, driving me insane.
All of the dreams, i cannot achieve.
I've been a savior, I've been a hero, but swallowed by my loneliness I too have been a villain.

My dreams are filled with hope and love, a better world, worth defending, unfortunately, it is  a world i can never be a part of.

Even if I live, I'm not alive
Even if I succeed, I cannot thrive
I wanted a savior too, one who could relieve me of some
of the weighted pain.
Each step I take is heavier than the last.
There is no goal I can achieve with my kind heart in this world.

My own explosion of emotion
Is growing near, I fear
I don't want to hurt you.
But I'm already dead
I don't want to make you cry
Just cause I on black roses tread.
I'm telling the truth while living a lie
Vibrating drops of water I shed.

If most peoples lives are sour like lemons than mine is salt.
Dry, and more dry, as i cry.

What's the point of making this?
Resonating with another persons heart,
Knowing I'm not alone.
That's something, even without my throne.

But how long will it last?
Being gifted doesn't mean you're better than others
Just cause I can read hearts,
I can't forget that others can do sports
Others can study things they hate.
Some create the most beautiful art.
Your gift is not what makes you special.
Your choices, being you, is.

Even if I had complete world domination, a piece would still be missing from my heart.

Even if I could fix you all.
I'm irreparable.
Cause no matter how I try, i can never achieve what I need
Time keeps on ticking.
Time won't wait.

I'll do what I can, until I fly.
If I can save beautiful light from harm,
Save those trees,
I can at least,

 rest in peace

I tread on those roses too. An excellent poem, with lots of feeling.
