Writing is an activity that is not often thought about unless it’s a topic of conversation. When you write, you don’t really think about it as a whole, only what you write down. You know what you’re about to write next without even realizing that you already have almost a whole paragraph down and then you read for the first time what you wrote in that short amount of time and it can be, in your own opinion, either a piece of artistic literature or a series of words and sentences that don’t meet your own individual liking. You can write and write something, and put so much effort into it, but half way or even after finishing it, you decide that you don’t like it no longer and give up on all that time you believe is wasted. You can start new and make something else, but at the end of the day, it happens again. To write, it’s always a trial and error type of system. You write what you feel is best and go on from there. Eventually, you get tired of the same old style and try something different until you find the right style for you. Being specific in writing is important because if it’s not specific enough, it can eventually drag on and on. You have to have a kind of color and style. For instance, if you grew up eating the same old meal, for example, macaroni salad, and then one day you have the option of that and another meal? Would you decide on the macaroni salad, or would you choose the other meal? With writing, you can’t keep using the same style over and over again because at some point, you’re going to get tired of it and want to try something different. At the start of anything, you have to try different ways of how it can be done successfully to be able to keep that hook. If you keep everyone that is interested hooked, you’re able to see what that you are doing is best for your writing. If you aren’t specific enough in your writing, the people reading will have to keep on guessing what it is exactly what you’re talking about. For example, you can’t just say “I went to the park and later left,” you have be specific on what went on. For instance, to make that more creative, you can say “I decided to go to the park and try to achieve at climbing to the top of the climbing wall. I’m unable to stay long since my curfew is 8 and it’s already 7:30, so in half an hour I have to go home.” The more specific something is, the better it can become. Thinking about being an author is a frightening thing. If you just scarcely think about how authors are capable of keeping up with the demand, you probably would never think of finding yourself to be one. If you really think about it though, they don’t sit down and write for hours on end (unless they choose to, of course), they write little bits and chunks of what they feel is the best at that moment. An average person doesn’t have the time to write forever, they write when they feel like it and when it’s necessary. Saying that you don’t have the time to write is a lie. Everyone does, they just choose not to. You can write when you want to. You can even record yourself or take jot notes of ideas on what to write next if you’re actually incapable of sitting down and adding or creating your art. Everyone is capable of writing and that is a true statement because everyone has writing in them. You don’t have to be a professional writer to be able to write, because at the end of the day, we’re all writing our own stories in some unique way.
