The rain slashed down at the train station
One could wonder his destination
Eyes lost in the ocean
The passenger and his reflection
As he reflects on another’s reflection
A dream or a memory
Corduroy top and tails
Tightly coiled hair
From his furrowed brow to his sharp nose
Beneath it, could be written despair
A grave expression
To stop and contemplate this character
Has me void my own
As I realize I am the passenger
It is past my eyes everything transpires
