The seeds of fascination were planted before I was born Torn from mother earth, my spirit awakens But trauma was rooted in the womb Too soon your breathed life into me Diopside green, like the hearts chakra But green too, for envy The heart constantly unrested A chest of pain, not of wonder Another year, another lover Ignorant to my own loneliness To love oneself near impossible A seed that did not wish to be spread An empty shell that needn't matter Of all the chance within this gambit Latent energy, I manifested Yet I do not feel that I have won
