One day,

I was on a walk...

You saw me and said hey,

And we had a nice talk...

We were seeing each other after years,

so no time for tears...

After some time,

you got up and said you had to go...

I didn't want to leave,

so I stood up slow,

and endured another goodbye...

As we walked away,

a dreadful thought

made me sway...

What if we never met again?

I have a chance now,

to be with him somehow...

But I kept walking.

And this I suppose,

was a mistake...

For I never saw,

the boy with a smile,

as beautiful and enchanting

as the flowers of spring,

again...
