Breath left behind,

Do you ever feel alone?

All on your own?

Waiting to call this home.

Left behind,

but you rather hide.

He takes you away,

tells you to stay.

Left alone,

this is not home.

"I want you for my own."

You scream "No!"

Let there,

playing with your hair.

The memories are stale,

Remember the first taste of ale.

The life you failed.

When down hold on,

keep on keepin' on.

Try helping ourselves,

instead of wanting someone else.

He left,

finally broken,

though your hope wasn't stolen.

Just caught in a moment.

You saw and defeated,

this will not be repeated.

Helpless and faint,

but still, now a life you paint.

Signs read Danger,

You now know not to cross.

So you just breathe in these toxic fumes,

That lead to your doom.

May sound cliche,

but it's always that way.

One day you'll break free,

and see me.

Watched and found you,

broken, forgotten, and sore.

Bring me in,

Life won't be that anymore.
