Cascading white lights

My shame dispersed

As Judgement came

Haloed by her aura

I remember those who came before her

Pressed flesh, still upon my skin

Made of sin, her and him

All their emotions seeping inside of me

Judgement’s sword upon my lunar neck

I begged destruction

A silver blade barely scathed my skin

As she whispers ‘forgiveness’

And I retort ‘I never wanted this’

A blessing, a beacon to those who sired me

But my spirit weakens
