Catwoman is a fictional character who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with superhero Batman. Catwoman is a Gotham City burglar who typically wears a tight, one-piece outfit and uses a bullwhip for a weapon. She was originally characterized as a supervillain and adversary of Batman, but she has been featured in a series which portrays her as an antiheroine, often doing the wrong things for the right reasons. Although Catwoman has been historically portrayed as a supervillainess, Batman and Catwoman have worked together in achieving common goals and are frequently depicted as having a romantic relationship.

Michelle was Catwoman, a normal woman who became a criminal after being almost killed by her boss. But after "Falling in Love Again" with Batman she decided to drive "Into the Night" of Gotham City to be with him. She enjoyed her "Sweet Liberty" as an independent woman and avoided a formal love relationship with Batman. She would be happy to live with "Amazon Women on the Moon" or with "The Witches of Eastwick" if she wasn't in love with him.

Michelle had been involved in "Dangerous Liaisons" with the "Dangerous Minds" of "Frankie and Johnny" during "The Age of Innocence". But "One Fine Day" she realized that being "Up Close and Personal" in love relationships brought her only pain and sorrow. Now she prefers to stay at "The Deep End of the Ocean" emotionally and not commit herself to a relationship. So when "Batman Returns" she would tell him:

"I Could Never Be Your Woman."

Batman would have to understand and let her go, again. "What Lies Beneath" Michelle's fear is the feeling she might lose control and surrender herself to the man she loves. So she decided to run away, to keep some distance.

When Batman was fighting against "Ant-Man and the Wasp" on "New Year's Eve," she saved his life. She told him afterwards:

"People Like Us" help each other." This is "The Story of Us."

Batman would understand and let her go after kissing her goodbye. Catwoman was definitely "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Batman could never catch.

Catwoman also helped Batman to prevent the Penguin from killing all of Gotham City's firstborn sons. At the beginning the Penguin and Catwoman worked together. After sabotaging the Batmobile to rampage throughout Gotham, the Penguin attempted to kill Michelle with one of his flying umbrellas after she rejected his advances. Hopefully, she survived after falling into a greenhouse. When the Penguin died, Batman looked for Catwoman. He saw her silhouette in an alley but only found her cat, who he decided to take home with him. Catwoman had disappeared "Into the Night" and watched The Bat-Signal appearing in the sky from a distance.

"It's fun to kick ass and show that other dark side of yourself as well."

Metaphorically speaking as she uses her bullwhip to do so.

"I find the less you focus on your flaws, the better off you are. Be yourself and be glad of who you are."

What are Michelle's flaws? Falling in love with Batman and the other dark side of herself.

"Somewhere along the line I made the switch and was able to look at the bright side rather than the dark side all the time. Now I look at everything I have and think how lucky I am."

That happened when she made the switch from supervillainess to antiheroine.

"You have a choice. It may not be a choice you like, but it is still a choice."

Michelle would be happy to be a normal woman. But she chose to be a criminal, and then an antiheroine.

"Just standing around looking beautiful is so boring."

That's what normal women do. There's a reason why Michelle decided to become catwoman. She is still looking beautiful without being boring.

"I have days when I just feel I look like a dog."

Hopefully it's just the way she feels at times. Could you imagine her in "Dogwoman?!"

"I was kind of surprised to learn how controlling I am. I never thought of myself in that way. I think the root of the control issues is usually fear, because you want to know what's going to be happening at any given moment."

Women are known to be controlling. Now we know it's out of fear.

"I'm afraid to be alone, I'm afraid not to be alone. I'm afraid of what I am, what I'm not, what I might become, what I might never become. I don't want to stay at my job for the rest of my life, but I'm afraid to leave. And I'm just tired, you know? I'm just so tired of being afraid."

To be afraid, or not to be afraid. Just let it go!

"So, goodnight Michelle. If you're afraid of commitment and don't want to marry Batman. You still can be "Married to the Mob," and have some "Tequila Sunrise" with "The Hollywood Knights" in a "Love Field."
