("Don't ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up" - Robert Frost)

The walls will grow

High and mighty

Thick and strong

Impenetrable to all

Because beyond them

There is a darkness

The darkness that is the truth

Which is trampled and hidden

Some like change and mercy

But it will never work.

We can never open the walls

Lest we let in a flood

And threaten our laws, our way of life

Straining our economy

Straining our workforce

Straining our education

So let’s be grateful for what we have now

Americans, be proud of where you are

And what you have achieved, what you own

Don’t try to play the role of a fairytale hero

Don’t try to put others before your own family

Defend yourselves, don’t let them in

Don’t welcome strangers into your home

And keep the walls growing, growing taller
