Depression is watching...

I will not fall again in this hole,

Head above water; that is my goal.

I’m more resilient; is that what you see?

I only fear what will happen to me.

If I again fall into the maze,

Will it be long and painful the phase?

Sometimes I feel it; it won’t let me go,

It’s always lurking; creeping in slow.

Polluting my heart; corrupting my mind,

Killing the will that I try to find.

But I’ll try to fight it; as long as I can,

To fight my depression is what I plan.

What is actually happening to you is that your sun is in opposition to your Pluto. The sun is life, while Pluto is an underground transformation planet. It is not like a progress, where it goes away. It is with you for your whole life. You have to work with it, and overpower it. At the moment, I am going through a sun opposing Uranus which was very disruptive, and at the same time, I am using the energies for scientifical things.
The poem tells it all, nice rhyming. There's nothing wrong if you dig deep.

Inspiring words, my friend! A wonderful upbeat piece!
The ways you describe your depression are very relatable: the maze, lurking and creeping, polluting and creeping - it is a sinister creature.
Good luck! Keep fighting! Never lose hope! I'm always cheering in your corner!

I love your fighting words here. It is about resilience, it is about defiance, and it is about having a stronger mentality than something that can destroy you. I've always believed that you have had this strength, and you will prevail. Depression is a black hole, but now you see the light around that black hole, and you will avoid falling into it. Keep hope Lisbeth. Excellent poem. Love the rhymes. Lisbeth is back :)

I know many, many, of us can relate very well to this poem. Stay strong Jay!
I really loved the line "Polluting my heart; corrupting my mind." That is exactly how depression feels, and you captured it very well with those words.
Excellent poem!
