For Jar Jar Binks, my family and I have always adored his character. He was modeled after an ancient, heroic clown from ancient Greek stories (do not the name, though), like almost every other character. Jar Jar also resembles people with a disability, especially those with full-blown autism and forms close to it, such as down syndrome. People with ADHD, hyper and clumsy persons, and Asperger's syndrome, completely good, yet still goofy, people, also resemble him. My twin brother has full-blown autism and loves "Star Wars"!
