Shades of dreams and in-betweens

Then Pastor rings the Chapel’s Bell.

The sound is sweet and oh so neat

But on deaf ears the sound has fell.

Ding-Dong, Ding-Dong.

It’s sure not heaven but might be hell.

Caramel Scones and yogurt cones

Are licked until my tongue is numb.

A day at the fair, without a care

But I’m all alone and that is dumb.

Ding-Dong, Ding-Dong.

It’s sure not heaven but might be hell.

So you see said the Bumble-Bee

If you buzz about the others Bees

Word gets around like a buzzing sound

Then you’re cast aside in an autumn breeze.

Ding-Dong, Ding-Dong.

It’s sure not heaven but might be hell.

This is just a Jump-rope song

It has nothing to do with life

Have fun with it but don’t forget

Never jump while holding a knife.

Ding-Dong, Ding-Dong.

It’s sure not heaven but might be hell.
