Hide under your bed, in your closet, or

even in your head. Grab your teddy bear,

and close your eyes for the yelling is getting

near. Tears start to fall and your heart starts

to race. You need help but who you going to

call? Mom is trying to calm Dad and brother is

already in between them. Things are getting bad.

I hear the sirens. The police are on the way, but

what does it matter Daddy always stays. In my room

I will somewhere be for that's the safest place for

this lost child to be.
