The challenge was short or lengthy, depending upon perspective and personality.

The knight named Sonnet was clad in the armor of the long winded and perfect descriptive. Wielding a jousting pole of hefty clarity, he never left his fans without perfect polarity. The charger he rode upon was a gallant and sturdy mount called 'Special Vocabulary.'

Haiku on a differing course was short of phrasing.

His silent mind thought filled.

Prevailing tiny pony carrying.

Into field of conflicting.

As Haiku and Sonnet clashed upon the mocking space of real battle, both fell to ground becoming.

It's a draw was the decision, the final ending of a beginning, with neither enduring an insulting concussion of conclusion...
