In our learning workshop we learned about sonnets and how to write one. This is my (Lillian Cheng) rough draft of the first quatrain to my sonnet.

When summer comes, I will take my dear dog

Enjoy the sunset's warm glow at the door

While stars appear, I will sit on my log

Taking a drink, I say goodbye to yore

Very promising. MInd that it should be: the sunset's warm glow, and goodbye.I think the last expression should normally be: days of yore. (Meaning long ago).
