I’ve always been so afraid of losing people that I held on to toxic friendships and relationships. No matter how bad they’d hurt me, I was ready to forgive them when they wanted me around again. I was ready to sacrifice my happiness if it meant that I was pleasing that person and keeping them happy so they wouldn’t abandon me like everyone else had, but now I know that I was wrong. My happiness and my health should always be at the top of my priority list. I deserve to be there.

I might have lost you, but I found myself in the process.
