My Demons

My demons approach, in the form of women and mental stimulants

With the promises to forget and enter a world of blissfulness

Preferring to be numb, I refuse to feel

Unwillingly choosing the facade that my issues aren’t real

Appointing my own doctors, who prescribe self-medication

Seeking help or advice, for me, its an abomination

Why do I fall prey to my predator being

I travel the darkened path, the road less seen

There are many entities that reside in my mind

Although, no one believes me

I swear, they are very much alive

When I close my eyes, my demons appear morbidly vivid

My addictive nature to succumb becomes extremely livid

Angry at the truth, in which, I loose self-control

Defeated by my vices, I am completely under their control

Calmness flees, allowing my insanity to freely proceed

Death shall be the remedy, for my soul to be at ease
