Lies Of Omission

The things you decided

to put in to words,

the lies of omission

were what I heard.

The course was determined,

on falsity set;

I can’t say, ‘Oh, well,’

forgive and forget.

So cruel and unusual,

the unsaid like a knife

that distorted and twisted

so much of my life.

What's not said can cut deeper than what is said. It's a matter of intention and it's a matter of what's been hidden. A lot is said here without saying much. Well expressed, Hully.

I didn't want to say too much with this. Very personal which makes it harder not to go further but...
Thanks so much for giving this a read, Jeff.
