My Two Favorite Disney Heroes:

The two most favorite Disney luminaries of my life

Are from the Disney Renaissance,

Both named Belle and Quasimodo

Who overcame their own strife,

Ran away in some abscond,

And would even get the best praise from everyone, even any hobo

Belle of “Beauty and the Beast”

Had a unique gift loving everyone and everything,

Storytelling fascination, and as smart as a priest

With singing as lovely as a violin

The Hunchback of Notre Dame,

Who was secretly just like Rapunzel,

Used his artistic crafting to hopefully gain fame

From at least his master giving supplies from his bushel

Misfits both felt like

As they may had been crystals from within,

Yet a happily ever after with a lover

Was desired to feel soulfully complete

With birds like shrikes

Flying and chirping fondly around their relationships

Guaranteed to last forever,

Having hearts and minds perfectly neat

Head hunter Gaston and Judge Claude Frollo,

Two of the opposing and wickedly behaved dramatis personae

France experienced centuries ago in the stories,

Were determined to make Belle or Esmeralda,

The love interest of Quasimodo and kind like a hobbit named Frodo,

Their miserable wives with persona

Reflecting an actor portraying a vain soul attracted to only outer bodies

And making innocents become topsy, turvy, and tipsy

Household objects, gargoyles, and others

Aided in their conflict with overcoming the swines

As well as keeping their gifts going

For themselves and others to adore

While no one judged on anyone’s covers

With their Valentine’s

Cherishing all with kindness glowing,

Plus remembering their old mentors

While one did not wed anyone in the end

(Like how Pocahontas never wed her love interest),

He still felt a twinkle of heart and cheeriness

From the friend

Who named him second dearest

With all of her huge merriness

Happily ever after

Had soon come to Beauty

and Modo for being as valiant as pastors

In their purely golden movies!!
